RETROSPECTIVE FFPE SAMPLES

 

Using a clinical pathology network of currently more than 20 sites ATREIDE BIOSAMPLES is able to provide access to sites’ archives and support clients R&D needs with surplus tissues including the following indications:

  • Malignant neoplasms of soft tissue: sarcomas, GIST, mesothelioma
  • Breast Cancer, including TNBC
  • Ovarian cancer, endometrial and cervical cancers

  • Thyroid cancers
  • Brain cancer (GBM)
  • Lymphomas including DLBCL, follicular lymphomas, mature T-NK-lymphomas (PTCL, ALCL)

ATREIDE BIOSAMPLES typically has few and up to 50 cases per indication available for immediate shipment to customers. If we do not have a sufficient number readily available, we can initiate custom retrieval projects at our sites with a typical turnaround time of  2 – 8 weeks post purchase order depending on indication and number of cases needed.

 

In many indications ATREIDE BIOSAMPLES can also access normal adjacent tissues, NAT, tissues from metastatic lymph nodes and tissues from distant metastatic sites. Tissues are typically from surgical procedures but where surplus material exists we can also help with biopsy formats like Core Needle Biopsies (CNBs) or Fine Needle Aspirates (FNAs).

    Type of Samples: All type of samples that are typically used for research: fresh tissues and blood specimen delivered overnight to European customers, FF tissue lumps, FF processed blood specimen (Serum, Plasma, Blood Cell Preparations like PBMCs), Urine (typically frozen), CSF (typically frozen), specimen processed in special media like PAXgene or RNAlater

 

     Type of Indication: Oncology, Gastro-Intestinal diseases, Gynecology, Neurology/Neurodegenerative Diseases, Infectious Diseases, Immune Diseases

 

     Type of Collection: Single time point or multiple time point collections

 

     Source/Partner: Clinical Departments within our site network in Europe and South America (for tropical infectious diseases)

 

     Typical number of cases per project: 2-3 (for pilots), 5 – 50 in regular projects

 

     Data access: Custom Data Sheets: CRF format or data table that contains information collected during patient information and consent and from standard of Dx and Tx as listed in clinical medical records
